Brain Cramp
Brain Cramp is a classic arcade shoot 'em up, where lack of new ideas is compensated by a massive amount of zombies and huge arsenal of weapons to waste them with.

Changes since 1.2:
  • Added launcher for configuring the game settings
  • Moved crosshair up in 3rd person view
  • Enemies can now also drop grenades and mines
  • Added some more content to the world
  • Additional points based on remaining beacon and hero hitpoints are now given after securing a beacon
  • Increased maximum amount of blood on the ground
  • Grenade explosion decals are now more randomized

Highscore reset

We did a highscore reset as version 1.2 was released.

Newest version with new weapons, more zombies, more everything!

Changes since 1.1:
  • Fixed the autoshotgun reload issue
  • Fixed firemarshall spawn crash
  • Message of the day is shown in game instead of main menu
  • Hero and zombies now have animations to show they take damage
  • Lawnmower and chainsaw can now be properly loaded
  • Lawnmower and chainsaw should now damage enemies properly
  • Added new weapons
  • Lawnmower and chainsaw now have sounds working
  • Fixed shotgun reload animation and reduced the reload time
  • Flamethrower bullets should no longer go through wall or get stuck inside the wall
  • Beacon damage message now come more sparsely
  • Tweaked weapon inventory positions
  • Packet is now dropped from a flyby-fighter jet
  • Fixed car model which had transparent insides
  • Fixed a bug where scores didn't reset between games
  • Time passes twice as fast during the day
  • Game now starts at 21:00
  • More action, faster game pace
  • Added missing weapon textures
  • Added music and music controls
  • Minibosses run, so do some of the zombies
  • Long names are truncated in the highscores
  • New background for the highscores
  • Fixed a throng of crashing bugs

Version 1.1 released
31st July, 2009
New version with bunch of new features and fixed bugs. We also did a highscore reset as the in-game scoring system was changed.

Changes since 1.0:
  • Hero's movement is now stopped if beacon is destroyed.
  • Added weapon reload animations and reload times
  • Bullets now hit zombies better
  • FPS can be toggled on/off by pressing F9
  • Health percentages are shown (colors slide from green to red depending on percentage)
  • Fixed "13rd/13th" bug
  • Grenades can now be thrown by right-clicking mouse (grenades cannot be equipped anymore)
  • Using Q/E now jumps from first weapon to last weapon and vice versa
  • Also mouse wheel changes weapon
  • Inventory is visible all the time
  • TAB changes view angle (was: F5)
  • Bullet amounts are visible all the time (even if amount is 0)
  • Message of the day shown in main menu
  • Fixed a number of devious crashing bugs
  • Fixed weapon and car models, textures
  • Adjusted lighting, visibility is now considerably better than in v1.0
  • Adjusted level: amount of available grenades/ammo/weapons decreased
  • Increased zombie amount
  • New score system (I wonder which tactic gives the most points...)
